Reumatologie is een prachtig vakgebied dat een algemene brede kijk op de patiënt combineert met een praktische aanpak. Door de ontwikkeling en groei van kennis kunnen we steeds meer patiënten met ontstekingsreuma helpen. Samen met patiënten de klachten en mogelijkheden tot behandeling te verkennen geeft me veel voldoening. Ik hou van een daadkrachtige aanpak waarbij ik de wensen en behoeftes van mijn patiënten voorop stel. Ik ben niet alleen behandelaar maar ook coach voor mijn patiënten, want naast steeds betere medicijnen weten we dat een gezonde leefstijl een grote rol speelt bij een succesvolle behandeling. Die kennis neemt alleen maar toe en het is mooi om op die manier iets voor de patiënt te kunnen en mogen betekenen.
